Laos

04

I was particulary excited about visiting this country because my grandparents lived there a very long time ago. This was one of their favorite country and now I understand why!

Such a beautiful, green and well preserved country. The people here are one of the kindest, always smiling and ready to help you.

Walking down the streets where my family lived and visiting the cities they use to go for the weekend was for me a very unique and moving experience.

In Laos, I saw the most stunning waterfalls of my life in Luang Prabang, visited amazing countryside villages like Nong Kiaw and met amazing backpackers.

I wish I could have stayed longer in this small country... A month was definitely not enough and for sure I will be back.

My biggest regret is that I didn't take the time to stay in this little organic coffee farm lost in the middle of the rice field in a small village nearby Nong Kiaw. The vibes were excellent but I was running out of time for my visa and really needed to go back to Vietnam.
