I arrived in New Zealand  with a massive tropical flu and pretty scared of having the malaria. I collapsed on the bus shuttle from the airport of Bali. I also struggled to enter the plane because of a stupid mistake I made when I got my working holiday visa. The airline company had to call the NZ immigration to be sure I was allowed to enter the territory. My arrival there was very stressful... I basically had no visa because mine was under the wrong passport number and was quite afraid of not being able to pass the customs because of the flu I had.

 

But It appears Kiwis are the most chilled people in the world except maybe for the customs.

It is simple, everything is easier in New Zealand: getting a job, traveling, finding accommodation, renewing a visa, even paying taxes is easy there.

​

So yes, living in New Zealand can be very comfortable but at the end you kind of miss the rest of the world. New Zealand is so far away from everything that you feel in a bubble where none of the other countries really matters.

But is a very beautiful bubble where to live.
