The South island is by far the most beautiful part of New Zealand. More sheep and less humans are leaving there. That's why, in some places, you can have the impression to be the last man standing which makes it even more impressive.

But the South was also the most difficult part of New Zealand to visit.. Because, we decided to stay working on a salad factory until the beginning of the winter, we visited most of the south in the winter, which is great because the snow makes the landscape even better but living in a car during this period can be tough sometimes.
